Cyber Safe Searching – Full Workshop Resources

$1,000.00

The focus of the course is to provide a step-by-step process to help parents/caregivers monitor their kids’ online activities to help protect them from predators.

The “problem” is broken down into ten practical solutions with distinctions, explanations, diagrams, and illustrations to explain how the solution works through a set of terms that need to be learned. These solutions can be delivered through a facilitator or as a self-learning tool. Videos and training are sequential to assist parents/caregivers in understanding how to solve their problem(s).

We encourage learners to infuse real-life stories, but if nothing is available then you can use a fictitious story. Use these actionable exercises for each main lesson so that the user can have an integrative experience during the course. We encourage group discussions, role-playing scenarios and simulations to embed learning. Homework for each main lesson has been incorporated so learners can practise and apply new concepts in the real world.

This course was designed to be online, for self-learning, and with some live group elements (like group coaching through Zoom).

The course structure includes 12 LESSONS and can be delivered daily, weekly, or biweekly.

• Course Duration: Six weeks
• Course Delivery: Two modules per week

The course can be completed independently or delivered online with the aid of a facilitator.

The length of each video and self/live training:

  • 5-minute videos
  • 40-minute self/live training
